What is Likha Short Film Lab?
The Likha Short Film Lab is a 6 week mentoring program by Asia Pacific Media Philippines open to amateur and aspiring Christian filmmakers. Participants will take their initial film concepts through the process of developing a short film script for production. Participants accepted in the program will participate in a 6-week film bootcamp. After the workshop stage, there will be a showcase of participants' film projects, and outstanding projects will receive prizes.
Likha 2024 Theme: The Four
This year, we have partnered with CRU PHILIPPINES to bring to you this year's theme. "The Four" is an evangelism tool that uses four symbols – a heart, division symbol, cross, and question mark – to represent the four points of the gospel in a clear and easy-to-remember way. Translating these concepts into a short film format is this year’s theme: "The Four" Participants are challenged to produce a short film that creatively incorporates one of the themes/symbols and conveys the gospel message in a modern context. At the end of this film lab, participants will be able to produce a 3-5 minute narrative short film that will serve as entries to the film competition.
