WHY WE
ARE HERE
From a humble beginning in a missionary’s living room to a dynamic, regional ministry, we have faithfully used culturally relevant media to reach hearts and equip the Church across Asia Pacific.
Our History
The Spark (1980s)
God sparked a vision in missionaries Bill and Kim Snider: use media to reach the unreached across Asia Pacific. In 1989, they founded Asia Pacific Media Ministries (APMedia) from their living room with just one staff member.

Building the Foundation (1990s–2000s)
We started with radio and basic video, training broadcasters and producing programs like Hope for You. Radio ministry spread across provinces in local dialects, while video dramas tackled real issues like addiction and family restoration. In 1993, we launched the first Asia Institute of Media Ministries, empowering indigenous media leaders.
Going Digital (2010s)

Digital doors opened new possibilities. We launched APMedia China's Christian resource site, created Digitracts, produced youth series like Bakit List, and connected thousands through the Media and Ministry Forum—equipping churches to engage culture online.

Pandemic Pivot (2020s)
COVID-19 made us a lifeline for churches going digital. We provided training and mentoring to help ministries pivot online. The Limitless Conference launched in 2023, gathering creatives to expand digital missions. Our Likha Short Film Lab began raising up gospel storytellers across Asia.

New Leadership (2025+)

In April 2025, founders Bill and Kim Snider passed leadership to Keith and Delsey Garner. With fresh vision and deep roots, we remain committed to our mission: His Message. Multiplied.

We are committed to training media missionaries to use every tool available to reach every soul possible with the transforming hope of Christ, until He comes.
