THIS IS A STORY STILL BEING WRITTEN

The Gospel Is on the Move: Advancing—One Story, One Screen, One Soul at a Time

Some stories begin with a camera. But this one began with a prayer.

“Christian films are often overshadowed by secular themes,” said Juan Luis Ventura, a young filmmaker from the Philippines.

“That’s why Faithwoven Productions was born—to bring Christian stories back to the big screen, to the box office, and to the public.”

Juan thought he knew how to tell stories—until he walked into the Likha Short Film Lab 2024, where the Holy Spirit began to rewrite what he thought possible.“I realized you never stop learning—especially when you’re being taught by experienced and faith-driven Christian directors,” he shared.

There, in a small workshop room filled with borrowed lights, script notes, and wide-eyed dreamers, something deeper than film technique was being taught. It was calling. A generation was being equipped to tell the story of Jesus through lens and light—to capture moments that move hearts toward heaven.

When Hearts and Cameras Align

“Likha filled the gaps in our knowledge and skills,” Juan said. “It equipped us to complete Love Meter and helped strengthen our group—Faithwoven Productions.”

From seven churches, they became one creative family—one mission, one vision. Their stories now ripple across screens and living rooms where God’s name had not been spoken aloud in years.

“I’m praying this project will spark a fire that leads to more films that spread the gospel and the good news of Jesus Christ.”

That spark is spreading—one filmmaker, one story at a time.

Filling Screens with His Light

Every time someone presses record, heaven leans close.

Because every story—every minute of footage—can become the moment a soul sees Jesus clearly for the first time.

This is how the Gospel moves now—through cameras, microphones, and creative hearts who see storytelling as ministry. Through short films that reach villages, cities, and screens where hope once seemed silent.

Each frame becomes a window for grace. Each story—a spark of light in a world hungry for meaning.

A Revolution of Stories Is Rising

This is what revival looks like in the digital age. Not just pulpits and pews, but cameras and storyboards. Not just Sunday sermons, but short films and social posts that carry His truth to the corners of the earth.

This is how we reach the next generation—by filling their screens with stories that whisper, “Jesus Christ is Lord.”

Juan’s story is just one.

There are countless others ready to begin—young storytellers across Asia Pacific, waiting to tell the next story that ignites faith and awakens hearts.

And this story—the one of light overcoming darkness—is still being written.

One story, one screen, one soul at a time.
