Burgers with Sour Cream Sauce

  • ½ k ground lean beef

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp ground pepper

  • 2 tbsps butter

  • ½ c chopped green onions

  • 1 c sliced fresh mushrooms

  • 1 c dairy sour cream

  • 1tbsp chopped flat parsley

Procedure
  1. With a fork, toss the beef, salt and pepper until well mixed.

  2. Shape into 4 to 6 patties.

  3. Heat a saucepan over low heat.

  4. Melt the butter and sauté the onions and mushrooms. Cook until the onions are transparent. Reduce heat to very low.

  5. Add sour cream and parsley. Add a little salt. Simmer but do not boil.

  6. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Place the patties and fry on both sides until desired doneness.

  7. Serve hot with the sour cream sauce.
